Subject:
Public Announcement that the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) engages the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) to handle matters in connection with suspension of the public issuance of stock of TPEx Primary Listed companies and foreign Emerging Stock companies, for implementation from 15 October 2022.
Basis:
- Article 59-2 of the Regulations Governing the Offering and Issuance of Securities by Foreign Issuers.
- Article 16 of the Administrative Procedure Act.
Public announcement:
- Entities from which filings will be accepted: TPEx Primary Listed companies and foreign Emerging Stock companies as defined in the Regulations Governing the Offering and Issuance of Securities by Foreign Issuers.
- Matters that the TPEx is engaged to handle: Matters in connection with suspension of the public issuance of stock of TPEx primary listed companies and foreign Emerging Stock companies.
- The TPEx is authorized to formulate relevant rules for the matters that it is engaged to handle hereunder, and TPEx primary listed companies and foreign Emerging Stock companies shall comply with the relevant provisions of the TPEx. The TPEx is located at: 15F, No. 100, Sec. 2, Roosevelt Road, Taipei City; tel. (02) 2369-9555.
- In the event of any amendment to or termination of the engagement hereunder, another public announcement will be made.
